According to eMarketer, being green is in fashion for brands. The firm reports, "A May 2021 Stifel and Morning Consult survey found that 71% of US adults ages 18 to 55 care more about product sustainability than they did a year ago." eMarketer sees "sustainability" taking on a broad meaning, "ranging from recycled textiles and reusable packaging to delivery options that reduce carbon footprints." Some of the green practices being adopted by brands include reusable and sustainably sourced materials, recycled packaging, green business certification, carbon footprint reduction and donations made to environmental causes.
