Brand consultant Interbrand ranks the world's 100 most valuable brands each year and the 2020 rankings have been published. According to MarketingCharts, the top ten in order are:
- Apple
- Amazon
- Microsoft
- Samsung
- Coca-Cola
- Toyota
- Mercedes Benz
- McDonald's
- Disney
This is the eighth year running that Apple has topped the list. All of the brands in the list are the same as last year, but some positions changed, such as Amazon, which rose from number 3 last year. The fastest rising brands of the year in the top ten were Amazon (60%) and Microsoft (53%). Other fast risers in the top 100 include Spotify, Netflix and Adobe.
